Hey there, thanks for using Prott!

We have some very exciting news for you about the latest Prott update, which includes a brand new feature. The iOS 1.6 update brings some big changes to Prott and we could not be happier to share it with you! The major changes include the addition of the multi-gesture and release notice features.

Note: Please be advised that we strongly recommend upgrading to the iOS 1.6 version. This update includes the addition of a very important feature. The use of an older version may not guarantee a smooth, problem free experience.

What is the multi-gesture feature?
 How do I use it?

Until today, you could link a single hotspot to only one screen, one gesture, and one transition. When prototyping for apps that change links by right or left swipe or map applications, this could be rather inconvenient. This is where the multi-gesture feature comes in. Multi-gesture allows you to set multiples gestures and transitions to a single hotspot. With the iOS 1.6 update you can try it out!

However, please keep in mind that the multi-gesture feature launched into Beta. We have not decided yet when the Beta term will end, so please be patient with us and we will let you know as soon as it is decided!

iOS Version

Once you have selected your hotspot, tap on “Add link” at the bottom of your screen to set an additional gesture and transition for that same hotspot. You can add up to four gestures to any single hotspot!

If you lose track of what gestures you have set, simply click anywhere on the screen outside of the hotspot. The hotspot will be highlighted in blue and display a friendly hint of all gestures you had previously set!

Browser Version

Similar to the iOS version, once you have selected your hotspot and linked to your first desired target screen (with gesture and transition), click on the “+” (Add link) at the left side of your hotspot. You can add up to four gesture recognizers and transitions through this “+” (Add link) feature.

If you want to view all your set links at anytime, just click on the hotspot and the list will slide right up!

Note: When you are using the preview or presentation mode, it is possible to test the pinch in and pinch out gestures by holding the shift key while dragging your mouse across the screen.

Thank you for being an active part in these big changes at Prott. Just like this new feature, our feature updates come directly from what we hear from you.

Please let us know if you have any questions or feedback about this new feature and any other features you would like to see in the future!
