Creating your first project with Prott

We are thrilled to announce the start of a new series on the Prott blog - Prott for Beginners!


Prott for Beginners will cover all of the basics. Every week, we will highlight different features, tips, and step-by-step processes to get you started and settled!

In this week’s kick-off post, we are going to cover the most important first step - creating a new project.

How do I create a new project?



After you create an account with Prott, you are all ready to start!

When you first log in to the browser version of Prott, your screen should look like this:

(1)To create a new project, click on the ‘+New project’ button. 



(2) A pop up screen will appear. Enter an appropriate name for your project under ‘Project name'.


(3) Select your target device from the drop down menu under ‘Device’. You have various device options including the recent addition of website prototyping!

(4) Click ‘Create new project’.

You now have a blank canvas to create your prototype.

You can also create a new project using the iOS app on your target device. When you first log in to the iOS version of Prott, your screen should look like this:

(1)To create a new project, click on the ‘+’ button at the bottom of the screen.

(2) A pop up screen will appear. Enter an appropriate name for your project under ‘Please enter a project name’.

(3) Click ‘Start project’.

Congratulations! You have successfully started your new prototyping project with Prott!
